Oded Fehr was born 23rd November 1970 in Tel Aviv, Israel. His parents are European and at the age of eighteen he joined the Israeli Navy for a three year term of National Service.

When he left the navy, he decided to go into business alongside his father in Germany. After two years, he realised it wasn't what he wanted to do and so took an acting course to pass the time. He liked it so much that he took it up professionally and went to London where he was accepted into the Bristol Old Vic for three years.

He appeared in the TV show, "The Knock" and appeared in a play at the Courtyard Theatre in London called, "Don Juan Comes Back From War".

Merely six months after graduating from his acting course, he was cast as, Ardeth Bay, in what was to become an overnight success and adventure classic - "The Mummy".

Personally, I think, Mr. Fehr protrayed the character of Ardeth Bay brilliantly. On paper, there's not a lot to like about Ardeth and yet, Mr. Fehr, managed to not only make, Ardeth likeable, but he made him SO likeable AND charismatic that the director, Steven Sommers, decided not to kill him off as originally planned and have him back in the sequel, "The Mummy Returns" with a bigger part.

He also starred in the Rob Schneider comedy, "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo" as Antoine Laconte, a gigolo who lends his apartment to a pond cleaner to look after his sick fish while he's out of town.

He is currently starring in a TV series called, "UC: Undercover" where he plays, Frank Donovan, a former FBI agent who heads up a team of crack agents that are trained to go deep undercover.
