They live in New York and their favourite place to meet is in a coffee house called, 'Central Perk' where they just hang-out and talk.

The show is wonderfully 'feel good' and the characters are all very likeable in their own way especially as they do have their flaws and annoying habits.

Currently in it's seventh year, there is talk that there will only be one more season before we have to say goodbye to the gang for good. It's a shame but considering the show is of such a high quality, it's best if it goes out on top before some of that quality is lost and people lose interest.
