JASON CARTER
The
following are just my own thoughts on what I consider to be an underrated,
underused - excellent actor! Born
September 1960 in England, Jason Carter is probably best known for his role in
the sci-fi series, Babylon 5, playing Ranger Marcus Cole. His
excellent portrayal of the loyal, talkative, sensitive and honourable Ranger
with a death wish won him legions of fans, myself included.
Other
roles have included him guesting on various TV series including, The New
Adventures of Superman, Third Rock from the Sun, Sentinal and most recently on
G Vs E. Filmwise, he has starred in, amongst others, Georgia, Taking Liberty
and most recently Famous Dead People. My favourite film of his though has to be
Viper where he played Alec Connor, the leader of the bad guy gang, 'The
Outfit'. For some reason, being a baddie just suits him so well! He guested

Jason
is a regular convention attendee all over the world and if you ever get the
chance to go to one where he is a guest then GO! He is vastly entertaining and
a very pleasant, friendly man. He also writes his own poetry, a book of which
is available either at conventions or signings.
I
live in hope that one day we'll once more see him regularly on our TV screens
or better still, on the big screen itself!
