Lee Stetson, who demanded of his superior, Billy Melrose, to have the case due to his closeness with Amanda.He was cleared of all charges and decided to stay in America, where he gets more chances to see
Philip and Jamie.He was married to Amanda for 10 years but his devotion to his work and the fact that he was never in the country eventually led to an amicable divorce. They remain friends but Joe did hint at them maybe becoming closer. Amanda made it clear that she's moved on and is not the same person she once was. Joe accepted that and has since become engaged to a woman called Carrie.
