"Try this for a deep dark secret, the great detective Remington Steele, he doesn't exist..."

With these words began one of the most sophisicated, funny and quick-witted detective series ever produced. It ran from 1982 until 1987 and had an extremely independent and strong heroine running a detective agency with the help of a mysterious, handsome stranger.

Laura Holt studies and apprentices to become a private detective. Unfortunately, being female, nobody takes her seriously and so she decides to invent a male superior called Remington Steele. She hires fellow detective, Murphy Michaels and receptionist, Bernice Fox to help run the agency. Both know that Remington Steele doesn't exist and aid in the cover up.

Whenever they encounter someone who demands to see their boss, they usually tell the client that 'Mr. Steele works better in an advisory capacity'.

This all goes well until a handsome stranger with a mysterious past finds out about the deception and assumes the role of the great detective, Remington Steele...
