CATEGORIES
BEST SHORT STORY: 1 part stories, no chapters
BEST LONG STORY: Stories with 2-10 chapters. In
order to maintain the integrity of the category for the year-end awards,
stories in this category must be complete (this will prevent stories
with more than 10 chapters from being included during the year-end awards).
BEST SAGA: Stories with 11+ chapters. This
does not mean series. If there are sequels to a story, they must be nominated
separately.
BEST WIP: Stories that are currently
incomplete, a work in progress. Must have a minimum of 3 chapters to be
considered.
BEST ANGST: Sad, dramatic, or unhappy
stories.
BEST COMEDY/FLUFF: Stories that are light in tone
and/or humorous.
BEST ROMANCE: Stories that focus on
Roxton/Marguerite or Veronica/Ned getting together in a romantic fashion.
BEST ROMANTIC
VIDEO: Best
interpretation of romantic clips of the show set to music.
BEST ANGST/SAD
VIDEO: Best
interpretation of sad/angsty clips of the show set to music.
BEST COMEDY VIDEO: Best interpretation of funny
clips of the show set to music.
BEST ACTION VIDEO: Best interpretation of
action/adventure clips of the show set to music.
BEST CHARACTER
VIDEO: Best interpretation of a character
of the show set to music.
BEST
CHARACTERIZATION:
Stories with
excellent characterization of any or all of the adventurer’s.
BEST EPISODE
STEALER: Stories based on an episode,
either filling in a scene or rewriting it.
BEST FUTURE FIC: Stories that are primarily set
after the end of season three - these do not have to follow the actual
storyline.
BEST ORIGINAL
CHARACTER: An original/new character
created by the author and NOT one of the usual adventurer's - e.g. maybe an
author has written an exceptionally good villain or created a new ally.
BEST AUTHOR: Best overall writing. This is
limited to a single author; collaborative teams are not eligible for
nomination.
