OPEL MANTA GTE
This was one of the most exciting drives and very similar to the
HP Firenza.
This car was bored out to a 2.1 litre, had a big valve, skimmed
head, close ratio gears and lowered, stiffened suspension. Felt every slight bump in the road and was a
raw drive but it was great.
Had a memorable race against a 3.0 litre Capri which it happily
lived with. Unfortunately, it was
eventually sold due to a company car.
