Lee and Amanda are driving to the resort and he's telling her what their

in their room, Lee checks for listening devices. Finding none, he sees Amanda
searching the suite for something. She tells him she's looking for her room!
Lee explains that they're sharing but Amanda's not happy so he says that
they'll discuss it later then leaves in order for her to get ready for dinner.
Outside
by the pool, Valerie Tucker is lounging when Lee walks by. She flirts with him
and he learns that she's the wife of Dr. Tuck Tucker then leaves.
Later,
as Amanda and Lee go down to dinner, they meet an older woman called, Mrs. Craddock.
As usual, the two agents haven't thought much about their background story and
when Amanda tells the other woman they've only been married a short while, Mrs.
Craddock immediately assumes they're newlyweds. Lee isn't happy about this as
he knows the news will soon be all over the hotel and now they'll have to act
accordingly. While they sit in the foyer, his takes her hands and they pretend
to gaze deep into each others eyes as Lee keeps a look out for people checking
in. He tells Amanda that they don't know who's targeted, just that he checks in
at six o'clock.
Three
men check in and as Lee needs to find out their names, he pretends to suffer
from a heart problem. While the desk clerk goes to get Amanda for help, Lee
quickly reads the guest cards. A bit later, he calls Billy who gives him
information on the men that turned up, then goes back to the dining room and
joins Amanda at their table. Lee was convinced that the target was going to be

dinner, they retire to their room, where Lee takes off his jacket and tie in
preparation to grab a couple of hours sleep. Seeing how uncomfortable Amanda is
with the situation, he tries to put her mind at rest by assuring her it isn't
some kind of an assignation. Not mollified, she suggests a roll away bed, to
which Lee points out that as they're on their 'honeymoon' and it wouldn't look
right. He finally compromises and decides to use the couch but when he doesn't
fit, he loses his temper and leaves the room.
The
next morning, Amanda, still in her clothes from the night before, wakes up to
the sound of the shower running. She walks over to look out of the window and
sees a blonde woman and three men down on the tennis court. As she continues to
watch, two of the men grab the third. Realising he's being kidnapped, Amanda
yells for Lee to get out of the shower. He doesn't hear her and by the time he
gets out, the people by the courts have gone. Amanda explains what she saw and
tells him that it wasn't Bosca, but some man she'd never seen before.
The
kidnapped man is forced into a white limo but they come to a road block so then

Lee
has got dressed and he and Amanda are out at the tennis courts. Amanda points
out the spot where she saw the man kidnapped. While they talk, Valerie Tucker
spots them and heads over. They exchange pleasantries then she leaves.Amanda
confirms that Valerie was the woman at the kidnapping and Lee tells her to
follow her.
In
the meantime, Armin has been told about the road block and that Tucker is now

sobriety test. Lee perfoms the tasks while telling Billy that Tucker has been

Lee
arrives back at the hotel and Mrs. Craddock tells him not to go into the hotel
as the airconditioning and heating is mucked up plus there's no water. While
she talks, Lee notices a helicopter fly overhead and realises that's how Armin
is going to make his escape with Tucker so he runs in the direction of the
aircraft. It lands and Tucker and Amanda are forced into the helicopter. Just
as it's about to take off again, Lee appears and pulls out his gun. The
helicopter lifts off, so Lee runs and takes a flying leap, grabbing onto one of
the runners.
Armin
orders the pilot to try and shake him off but Lee holds fast through even
though he's dragged through trees, water and a fence. Armin gets angry and
pulls a gun on him. As he opens the door to point the weapon at Lee, Amanda
suddenly pushes him, putting him off balance. Lee then swings his legs up onto
the runner until he's lying on it. Armin pushes Amanda back and Lee kicks the
helicopter door, jamming Armin's hand in it which causes him to drop his gun.
Lee then stands up on the runner then pulls out his gun and orders the pilot to
land.
It
lands and police arrive to help. Billy and some Agency men get out of the cars
and run over to the helicopter to arrest Armin and his men. Amanda runs over to
Lee who starts to untie her while she tells Billy that Valerie Tucker has gone
to the airport.
Later
that day, an exhausted Amanda enters her house carrying her bags. A few seconds
later, she hears voices and shoves her lugguage into a closet just in time for
the front door to open announcing that her mother and the boys are home. She
tells the boys to go upstairs and get washed up and her mother follows them
after Amanda promises to make sandwiches.
As
soon as they're out of sight, there's a quiet knock on the back door and Lee
enters the kitchen. She tells him that her family are back so he stays put and
hands over her toothbrush that she forgot.

ROMANCE
Well,
Lee certainly made the most of the their 'honeymooners' cover in this episode,
that's for sure. A lot of hand kissing/holding over the dining table while they
eat dinner by candlelight - even Amanda questioned if it was necessary.
Before
that though, we see Amanda embarrassingly misconstrue Lee's invitation to
'spend the weekend' with him. She finally realises that it's Agency related but
those several awkward moments she takes to get there show her true, and
wishful, thoughts.
Of
course, the stand out scene is when they're in the room together and Amanda is
so obviously out of her depth. Lee does actually realise this and, rather than
laughing at her as he probably would have done in the beginning of the show,
he's really nice about it and reassures her that he's not going to come on to
her. It's only Amanda's continued jittery behaviour that seems to get his back
up - maybe he feels a bit hurt that she doesn't seem to be comfortable alone
with him.
When
I first saw this scene, I automatically assumed that Amanda just wasn't the
type of woman that jumped into bed with anyone she fancied. Having seen it a
few more times however, while I still think that that is still pretty much the
reason, I've also come to the conclusion that she behaved the way she did
because she liked him and didn't really trust herself in the situation.
She knew that if Lee did decide to really turn on the charm, she probably
wouldn't hold aout against him so, she tried to keep him at arms length.
Amanda
also shows her jealous side for one brief moment, when they both meet Valerie
Tucker after her husband has been kidnapped. Amanda sees the way she looks at
Lee and suggests he be the one to follow her. I think Lee knew she was envious
but chose to tactfully ignore it.
Another
nice moment is during the tag scene when you have the tantalising pause where
Lee comes back and both Amanda and the viewer wonder why he has returned. You
know her toothbrush is the last thing on her mind.
So,
all in all, quite a sweet episode that again shows there are some feelings
between the two.
QUOTES
LEE:
How can you have a root canal at a time like this?
FRANCINE
(sarcastically): Oh, I don't know, I just thought it
might be more fun than a weekend in the country.
LEE:
Are you telling me there aren't any female agents available?
BILLY:
I'm not telling you anything, the computer is.
LEE:
This was Billy's idea, Amanda. Believe me, it was his idea. You're spending the
weekend with me.
AMANDA:
I'm spending the weekend with you?
LEE:
Not that kind of weekend.
LEE:
Just be yourself Amanda.
AMANDA:
Just be myself.
LEE:
(Looking worried) Only not too much.
AMANDA:
Well, don't you think that we should discuss the accommodations? I mean, do you
know what I'm talking about? There aren't enough…accommodations.
LEE:
Later, OK?
AMANDA:
How much later?
LEE:
Later. (He leaves the room)
AMANDA:
Later means never.
LEE:
A roll-away bed on our honeymoon?
AMANDA:
It wouldn't look right, would it?
LEE:
Alright, give me her description again.
AMANDA:
She was very tall, very pretty, very blonde, very sort of everything.
LEE:
Oh, Amanda, that's a terrible description.
LEE:
Hey Billy, how did you move so fast? I didn’t have time to call you.
BILLY:
Well I looked up and there was this guy hanging from a helicopter – had to be
you!
AMANDA:
I thought you left.
LEE:
Well, I did. But I came back.
AMANDA:
(nodding nervously) Oh.
LEE:
Yeah. (After a long moment, Lee produces a small item from behind his
back and holds it up) You forgot your toothbrush.
